Biography

 

Jocelyn Page was born in Maryland, and was raised in Lebanon, Connecticut, USA.

After living in Japan, Jocelyn completed a BA (Phi Beta Kappa) in Japanese and Linguistics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. After graduation, she moved to Japan to teach English on the JET program followed by time working in Washington, DC at the Japanese Embassy (JICC).

She spent time in Bologna, Italy, Hungary and Spain before moving to London in 2000. After receiving an MA and PhD in Creative Writing (Goldsmiths), she began teaching poetry, academic writing and creative writing for a number of institutions, including Goldsmiths College and University of London, Worldwide.

Jocelyn now teaches and holds residencies across organisations including Greenpeace International. She lives in Greenwich, Southeast London with her husband and sons.
